Check out a Hotspot
Users of Roselle Public Library rely on their Library to borrow books, movies, music, and more – and now, users can even check out the Internet! Library card holders can borrow a portable mobile hotspot for free Internet access for a week.
The hotspot is small enough to fit in a pocket, but powerful enough to connect up to 10 Wi-Fi devices simultaneously – smart phones, notebook and tablet computers, printers, cameras, e-book readers, etc. – for up to 10 hours of continuous use with bandwidth comparable to in-home high speed internet service. The 4G LTE hotspot connects via the Sprint network so users enjoy long-range Wi-Fi, both indoors and out for hours of connectivity while on-the-go.
"This is the easiest technology ever," said one enthusiastic user.
Roselle Library card holders can check out the mobile hotspot for a week at a time. Place a hold on the hotspot through the Library catalog, or call 630-529-1641 for more information.
