Lions Club donates Video Magnifier

Have you ever struggled to read a letter or an important document? Do you miss the details in family photos? The Roselle Lions Club and your Library will soon be able to help people with low vision to see things more clearly!

On Thursday, March 21, 2013, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Roselle Lions Club will formally donate to the Roselle Public Library, a 22 inch HD monitor Video Magnifier. This device will assist residents of the Roselle community with low vision to read, view pictures, and complete written business documents. The Library looks forward to providing this service for the community, providing more independence and a better quality of life for those with low vision disabilities.

The Board of Trustees and Staff of the Roselle Public Library District are grateful to the Roselle Lions Club for providing this literacy tool for our low vision Library users and all residents of the Roselle community.

Residents are welcome to attend the formal donation on Thursday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m., and view a demonstration of the Video Magnifier. The Roselle Public Library is located at 40 S. Park Street, Roselle, IL. For more information about the Roselle Public Library, our programs and services, check our website, or call 630-529-1641.
