October Programs for Youth

Registered Programs:
Chess & Checkers...
continues to be popular with ages 7-17. Mondays at 4:30 through October 17
Books & Popcorn...
reading"Flight of the Silver Turtle" by John Fardell, registration began Oct. 3,
But you still have time to register...October 24 at 6:30 p.m. grades 3-5.
Kreative Kids...
Very informational with thematic crafts! "Creepy Creatures"K -2nd Grade. Thurs. Oct. 20., at 4:30 p.m. Registration began, Oct. 3, so register soon!
Halloween Fun...
Spooktacular stories for children birth-5 years-old. Suitable for the younger crowd to get
them excited about the coming holiday... (come in costume) registration begins Mon., Oct. 10.
Program begins promptly at 10 a.m. on Wed. Oct. 26. Miss Gerri and Mrs. A will be waiting!

Drop-In Programs:
Lego my LEGO...
Like to build? Kids ages 4-12, Stop by the library to build away with Lego's provided by Youth Services. Creations will be displayed! 11:00-3:00, Monday Oct. 10.
Wa*ka*doodle Wednesday...
Oct. 12 for all ages, drop by, create crafts...make new friends! 4:30-6:30. Materials
provided by Youth Services
Family Movie Matinee...
Drop by, join the fun, see a favorite, new release on the big screen, for families all ages
Sat., Oct. 29 at 2:00 p.m.(children under 8 must be with an adult)
Show off your creative talent by writing, poems, articles, book reviews or original illustrations! Meet other reporters for the "What Up With Kids!" library newsletter.
Thurs. Oct. 20 at 6:30 in the Storytime Room.
