Movie Night @ Itasca Library

Immerse yourself in 1920s Chicago as Itasca Public Library presents "The Untouchables," a larger-than-life depiction of mob warlord Al Capone (Robert De Niro) and the law enforcer, Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner), who vowed to bring him to justice. Sean Connery (patrolman Jimmy Malone) won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. (1987; MPAA rating: R)

"On the Same Page" is a month-long community read of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby and a look at the life and culture of America in the 1920's. It is a cooperative program hosted by the public libraries of Bloomingdale, Itasca and Roselle.
