Consumer Reports online!

Although there are some free consumer resources available on the Internet, Consumers Reports is the recognized authority. Consumers Union is an expert, independent, nonprofit organization that has been testing, comparing and rating products since 1936.

ConsumerReports.org is the online component of Consumer Reports magazine. Not only can you read the current issue of the magazine online, but you can also find ratings for over 5,000 products including cars, appliances, electronics and much more. Browse through product recalls and safety information, consumer news and special reports.

Like the magazine, ConsumerReports.org is only available by subscription and now, that subscription access is available to you, free, online, anytime, courtesy of your Library. Find ConsumerReports.org on the Databases page of the Library's website, then dig out your library card and PIN to get the scoop on the best e-readers, washing machines, bike helmets, ... (you fill in the blank!)
