RMS Class Gets Carded!

The Roselle Public Library and Roselle School District 12 partnered to challenge all students at Roselle Middle School to get a library card this September. The first homeroom with all students registered for their own library cards won a pizza party sponsored by Italian Pizza Kitchen!

Roselle Middle School Librarian, Mrs. Carrie DeForest, reported the students “put the pressure on their classmates to bring in their library cards--positive peer pressure!” When the winning class was announced at school, Mrs. DeForest exclaimed, “I could hear their cheers from the other side of the school.”

“It was a great promotion, as students should take full advantage of all that the public library has to offer, including extra resources that can help students with schoolwork and fun, creative programs,” enthused Mrs. DeForest.

The Roselle Public Library appreciates the support from Italian Pizza Kitchen, Roselle School District 12 administration, and Roselle Middle School teachers, librarian, and parents. We look forward to continuing the challenge at the elementary level.
