Computer Classes @ Your Library

Roselle Public Library offers a variety of computer classes aimed at beginning computer users.

Internet 101, Tuesday, 9/28, 10:00 a.m.-Noon. This class will teach you the basics of Internet searching as well as how Internet web sites are set up. It will help you identify usable information as well as showing you parts of a good web page.
Microsoft Word, Wednesday, 9/29, 10:00 a.m.-Noon. This class will teach you the basics of creating and retrieving a saved document. Formatting, using margins and other tips and tools for creating a good looking document will be covered. Intended for users of Microsoft Word versions 2003 and earlier.
Email class, Thursday, 9/30, 10:00 a.m.-Noon. This class will assist you in using a free website email service such as Hotmail. Creating attachments, sending and retrieving messages will be covered. Please note that this class does not help you establish a new email account.
Please note that some skill in using a keyboard and mouse are necessary for the above classes.
Registration is required. Please call the Library to register: 630-529-1641 x222.

Watch for information on Saturday Skills classes on mousing and (new this year!) databases. They will be offered on the first two Saturday mornings of the month.
