Spring Break @ your library

Get creative all week in the Youth Services Department with programs funded by a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation.

Monday: drop in anytime 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. to scratch away at art; take home your scratch art creation.
Tuesday: 2 - 3 p.m. children in grades K-3 can explore the world of pop-up books; how they are made, how you can make one of your very own! Registration is required.
Wednesday: drop-in from 2:30 - 7 p.m. to Deck the Walls! Help decorate a fabric wall mural to hang in Youth Services Department. Create your own "book" to put on the mural inspired by the art of Ezra Jack Keats, along with all your favorite illustrators.
Thursday: 2 - 3 p.m. Crazy Collage Creations! Children in grades 2-5 mix patterns, textures and everyday objects to create your own picture. Use the work of Ezra Jack Keats and other illustrators to inspire your own collage creation. Registration is required.
Friday: drop-in from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. to Deck the Walls -- again! Last chance for children in grades K-5 to help decorate the fabric mural for Youth Services.

Let your creative side shine during Spring Break @ your library!
