Introducing AquaBrowser, our new Library catalog

If you use Google, Yahoo, or other popular Internet search engines, you will feel right at home with the Library's new Catalog Search tool, AquaBrowser Library!
Use AquaBrowser to easily find books, movies and music in the Library's collection.
Simply type a word (or words) into the familiar "Search" box to:
- Find what you need, even if you're not sure how to "Search."
Results will appear in the middle panel of your screen; click on an item for more information and to see if it is available or checked out.
- Explore (and "Discover") optional paths for more information.
Related words and spelling variations appear in a "word cloud" on the left side of the screen. Click on any word to follow that information trail.
- Narrow (or "Refine") your search as you wish.
On the right side of your screen, you can narrow your search by format, subject, language and more.
- See cover art, reviews, tables of contents and more.

Use AquaBrowser in the Library or click on any "Catalog" link on the Library's website to access AquaBrowser.
The Library's Traditional Catalog will still be available, of course, for those users who prefer more controlled searches.
Let us know what you think!

I want to be able to find out what new books and DVDs have been added to the collection and cannot figure out how to do that with this new search
If you knew how to do it with the New Item search in the Traditional Catalog, that is still available and probably the best way to get that information from the catalog.
Alternately, you can just look at the New Titles page on the website. You can find it on the Home page in the A-Z Index - click on New Titles.
The New Titles pages is updated every week or was just updated this afternoon!
If you have any other questions, email Reference - they can help!
