Roselle Library Awarded Weed and Feed Grant from State

The Roselle Public Library was recently awarded a grant for the purchase of books to update a portion of the library’s collection. In order to meet the needs of young families and home-owning patrons in the library’s service population, more than 200 new books and DVDs were added to the library’s collection of family, food, home and garden titles. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library (ISL), a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), under the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Brochures promoting the new materials are available at the library. For more information about the library’s new materials, contact Daryl Rogers at (630) 529-1641 ext. 212. The Roselle Library is located at 40 S. Park Street.
