Summer Reading Begins this Week!

"Super Heroes, Powered by Books!"
All Summer Reading Programs begin Monday, June 6th and run through Monday, August 1st.
There is a program for everyone: Children, Adults, Families and Teens!
See the Summer edition of Library Lights for details on all of the Summer Reading Programs.

Registration begins for the Babysitter Training Workshop that will be held Friday and Saturday, June 24 & 25, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
A non-refundable $10.00 fee is due at registration.
The workshop is open to students ages 10 - 16.

Registration begins for "Be a Superhero Magic Show" that takes place June 23, 2:00 p.m. Learn what it takes to be a Super Hero through interactive magic, stories and audience participation. presented by Michael Kett.
For children entering grades K-6 in the fall.

During the summer, Chess Club will meet June 6 - July 25, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Players ages 7 - 17 are welcome.

Registration begins Monday for the Harry Potter Book Discussion that will take place Monday, July 25, 7:00 p.m. Students in grades 6 - 8 will discuss Harry's latest adventure, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The Library Board of Trustees meets Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the Library Conference Room. The public is invited to attend.

Thursday, June 9th, 2:00 - 3:30 pm, drop by the Library and create your own paper-bag Super hero puppet to take home. Supplies will be provided for this drop-in craft time. For Children entering grades K-6 in the fall.
(Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent.)
No registration is necessary
