Weed & Feed Grant at Roselle Public Library

The Roselle Public Library was recently awarded a Library Services and Technology grant through the Office of the Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White, for the purchase of books to update a portion of the library's collection. This grant enabled the Roselle Library to update its collection of geography, history, travel and biography books in order to meet the needs of middle and high school-age children in the library's service population. More than 200 new titles were added to the library's collection. These new materials offer fresh ideas on historical events and persons, reflect new research and new understandings, and incorporate more inclusive and diverse viewpoints on important historical matters. Brochures promoting the new materials are available at the library. For more information about library's new materials, contact Daryl Rogers at (630) 529-1641 ext. 212, or e-mail
