National Library Week @ Your Library

Help us celebrate National Library Week (4/10 - 4/16)! Stop by the Library and take advantage of the services and materials available to you: check out a current movie on DVD or Video, listen to a book on tape or CD, browse our collection of foreign language books, ask a Reference Librarian for help, start researching your family history. These a just a few reasons to visit the Library. Stop by and "cultivate your mind."

The Library also offers a variety of programs.
Monday, 1:00-2:00pm, learn to use the Online Public Access Catalog. An Adult Services staff member will personally demonstrate our Catalog, giving a detailed overview of search strategies.

Chess Club meets Monday, 4:00-5:00pm. Players ages 7-17 are welcome.

Monday, 7:00pm, Psychologist Clifton Saper offers a light-hearted presentation on how to manage stress, anger and depression, based on Dr. Richard Carlson's best-selling book, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. Wednesday, 7:30pm, the Library Board of Trustees meets. The Public is welcome to attend.

Saturday, 2:00pm, the community is invited to attend a showcase of several short plays performed by 3rd-5th grade students of Spring Hills School using a performance technique known as "readers' theater."

The spring sessions of storytimes continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Call or email the Youth Services Department for details.
