This Week (2/20 - 2/26) @ Your Library

Join us this afternoon, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. for Musical Sunday featuring Laura Fako Utley. This talented harpist will perform various selections.

Monday is President's Day. Kids are invited to spend their afternoon off at the Library. At 1:30 p.m., kids in grades 2 -6 will be treated to a No School/Movie Day. Watch our feature presentation, "Shrek!," based on the book by William Steig. "Shrek!" is rated PG for mild violence.
No registration is necessary, just drop-in!

Chess Club meets from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., Monday. Players ages 7 - 17 are welcome to drop by.
Registration is on-going.

The winter sessions of storytimes continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Call or email the Youth Services Department for details.

Thursday afternoon, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Introduction to Email.
Adult Services staff members teach this introductory class for ages 12 and above. Participants will learn how to get an e-mail account, compose and send messages, and work with e-mail attachments. Participants will get hands-on experience on the library's computers.
Registration is required.

Saturday, 2:00 p.m., children, kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to Tea with the Rose Queen. Visit with the 2004 Rose Queen, Courtney Hildenbrand and make a simple craft. Refreshments will be served. Children under 7 years old must have a parent accompany them. No younger siblings.
Registration is required.

Just a reminder that the Winter Reading Program, "Laugh It up at Your Library," ends next Monday, February 28.
