Sunday afternoon, 1:30 pm, Dr. Michelle Paluch-Mishur presents a slide lecture, Jacqueline Kennedy: the White House Years, examining Jacqueline Kennedy's impact on culture in America during her tenure as first lady. The lecture relates to the Field Museum's special exhibition "Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years: Selections from the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum," which is scheduled for display in Chicago from November 13, 2004 through May 8, 2005.

Winter Reading Program, "Laugh It Up at Your Library," begins Monday and runs through Monday, February 28.

The Chess Club meets Monday afternoon, 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
Registration is ongoing for ages 7 -17.

Adult Services staff members present Introduction to Email, Wednesday, 10:00 am - noon, for ages 12 and above. Participants will learn how to get an e-mail account, compose and send messages, and work with e-mail attachments. Participants will get hands-on experience on the library's computers.
Registration is required.

The Library Board of Trustees meets Wednesday evening, 7:30 pm, in the Library Conference Room. The public is welcome to attend.
