Roselle Library Remembers September 11

It is 1:30 am, Roselle Library, along with several libraries across the nation, is open for business, as we will be for the entire 24 hours of September 11.
We are open on this day because we believe that libraries are a symbol of our freedom as Americans. Libraries represent the sum of all human knowledge, and they represent equal access to that knowledge. They represent freedom of expression, celebration of diversity, a playing field that is level, preservation of heritage, and commitment to the future.
We are open during these 24 hours as a symbol of our freedom.
Thank you to Bensenville Public Library for initiating this idea.
